Datalist column width not working if i have lots of columns

I am unable to set column width as per demand after i have added like about 7 to 8 columns. Setting the width doesn't affect the column width.

I checked the community but neither could I find a solution nor could i find any related topic which has the info about column width not working after addition of a few columns.
Please let me know if it is how it is or is it a bug that would be fixed?

Hi, I believe if the width is too large then it will try to adjust to the window size. Perhaps you could try to add your own custom CSS to force a fixed width like in https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4457506/set-the-table-column-width-constant-regardless-of-the-amount-of-text-in-its-cell?
