why making all customized fields to string type

is there any consideration for Joget design team to make this decision?

why not directly create fields with correct type defined in form builder?

Hi, I believe this approach makes the fields "untyped", so that it can used and reused in a variety of ways, and in multiple places. I believe that you can also manually change the database column type if you intend to make it more restrictive, but you would need to ensure that your app designs take that into consideration.
