Hi,

I wonder if Joget can display the current id from the id generator field instead of displaying 'AUTO' in a new form before submitting the form? Do let me know if there is a solution for this.

Hi, Joget only retrieves and creates the current id when you save the form (it retrieves the last running number, +1, assigns it to the form, and updates the last running number back into the database). This ensures that the running number is unique and not in 'hold' by the new form pending save.
