how does runProcess work?

hi i wanted to ask if how doea RunProcess works? i have asked this question before but i cant really understand it. in my system, when a user clicks the Apply User Account, it makes a instance already inside my Pending Requests althoug hthe user didnt submit the credentials yet, i tried puttig the Apply process into the runprocess but when o open the pending request, the user will do the application again, but it should be for acceptans only. how can i fix this?

runProcess is like an activity that start a process..so you should map it to a form.

will i make a new form? for instance in my system, will i avoid the auto creation of instance?

Hi,

You should remove the Submit Request activity from your process design, and instead map the IT System User Account form to the Run Process activity.

You can refer to other apps eg https://marketplace.joget.org/jw/web/userview/mp/mpp/_/vad?id=internal-service-v1. Many of the apps in the marketplace or sample apps in a default installation would demonstrate this.
