how can i get a connection with mysql from datalist binder?

I connected mysql database using jdbc datalist binder with custom datasource.I passed my database url,username and password.when i click the test condition it will show not able to establish the connection.Access denaied  user/root/@'/localhost.

Any one can help me...!!!

That should work! Does your custom datasource accept connections over 'user'@'localhost'?
It'd be great if you could share a screenshot of the error.

There is a related bug in version 5.0.3 and fixed in version 5.0.5. May I know your version number?
