How to get the balance of selected item from drop down list

I have a form that contains a drop down of item and I want to display total balance.

How can I get the latest balance of the selected item? Right now i am still using community edition of Joget V3, so there is no calculation field like in the Enterprise edition.

Hi,

Seems a lot of stuff need to be developed. You can use combination of web service plugin (later can be accessed by using ajax) with some custom HTML coding to call the ajax with jQuery.
