Inbox problem

I had followed the tutorial about Travel Request. To request the travel, I click Submit Travel Request and then clik Request. In our inbox there a travel request. But If I click Submit Travel Request again and do not request travel (just view the menu), in our inbox there is Submit Travel Request. How to handle that? If we just to view the menu there is no message in our inbox.
