Plugin create impossible for a new user

I know Java and I thought that I could manage to make a very simple plugin just to try. So I went to the knowledge base about plugins and I DID NOT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING. It looks more like a reference for someone that already know how to make a plugin and not for someone experiencing it for the first time. There is not even one example from the start to end.
