filtering parameter to a list using code

The lists in the community version do not have a querys editor, so if you want to show the user a filtered list according to a logic it is necessary to use the filters. However, we want to drive from a link to a filtered view of the list (for example to items that are related to the user or to the value of a workflow variable, only) How can you pass that parameter to the list using URL or code ?
