Well, there are several data binders you can use to join two datalists in DX7.

the easiest one that you can use is the Advanced Form Data Binder
Follow through the step by steps in the kb's and you'll get what you want to join.
You must be aware of the Primary Key and column used to connect each tables to be able to have a successful table joining.
I suggest you to use the DX8 as they have new feature of ERD( Entity Relationship Diagram). where you can see the relationship between tables.
