Request Param is not passed to the popup form when edit mode

I have a "Form Grid". I use the "URL Request Parameters for Popup Form" to pass a parameter to the popup form (new and edit) that the "Form Grid" is based. But the parameter is only passed in the new popup form and not when we want to edit a grid record! It is useless that way.

So you confirm it? And how can be resolve it? There can't be real life application with such a limitation
