How to set the approver inbox of simple leave approver?

I set the permission for approver inbox in userview for a list of approver. Each approver is assigned to each department for specific company. Now, the approver inbox will list all the application from leave application for all approver. I want to make the list in the approver inbox only for the specific approver.

For example A can only view applications from staff under A approval.

How to do it?

For your information, I grouped the staffs into departments and assigned the department to specific approver.

Create a workflow variable to store the approver's username, and in process map to participants, assign this workflow variable to the approval swimlane. In other words, each process task activity is assigned to a specific person and when you display the inbox or datalist inbox, the pending task list will only display for that user that is logged in.

In Process "Map Participants to Users > Map to Org Chart" you can assign to the following:

- Map to a Head of Department (HOD)
- Map to an entire Department
- Performer's Department

If you use workflow variable, you can set the following too:

Map to Workflow Variable >
- Group Code
- Username
- Department Code
- Head of Department (Department Code)
