Hi all,

Any idea of a practical way of having file check-out and check-in features? For example, we attach a file to a task and it gets checked out until the participant completes the task.

Hi, from the sounds of it, you can just design it as part of your app? For example, you could have a form that contains the file upload field, and a text or hidden field to capture the user checking out the file. You could then use the value of the checkout field to make the file upload readonly or otherwise.

Yes that's one way to do it, as long as the information is available to all users. Would be practical to have a plug-in that implements check-out and check-in with a method.
