This the record id generated by Joget for a submitted form arbitrary? Can it be changed to any other unique arbitrary string. If form records are added via an external SQL call does the id need to follow a format?

Hi

The form "id" does not need to follow any prescribe format as long is it will always be a unique value as it is the database table primary key.

You can also use the form element "ID Generator Field" to populate the form's id value.
