How to save history for every content changing

My trick is making 2 identical form from table : EXISTING & HISTORY

and making 2 identical list from those forms : EXISTING & HISTORY

For every content update saved, saved one goes to EXISTING and old one goes to HISTORY.

But still idea.. not yet realized.

Is there any solution better than this ?

Hi Alfa Papa. I would like to ask if you succeed to do what you want? Because I'm doing a similar concept. So how do you make the saved one goes to existing and old one goes to history by using form data audit trail?
