How to customize the text in a List Grid

For example:

"Status" column value is "Operational". I would like the text on the List Grid to be bold and green.

"Status" column value is "Down". I would like the text on the List Grid to be bold and red.

In List Grid colum type List Grid, set to HTML.Then, in your selection, use html tag like above.

Thanks. Is there an alternate way to do this using Javascript Conditions Formatter? I tried it in a datalist and was able to view the formatting in a userview->list However when I tried embedding that same datalist into a form (using list grid) and then embedding that form through a userview, the formatting went missing. Using your suggested method does work this way but I would prefer to use the Javascript Formatter.
