Setting the deadline duration of 1 day is equivalent of setting it to 24 hours.

Hence, for example, starting a deadline countdown at Monday 2pm will only be triggered on Tuesday 2pm.

For the Process Deadline Checker Interval, you can define how frequent Joget will check for deadline events to be triggered (every X seconds). Think of Deadline Checker as such of a mailman analogy, where there may be pending mail and mailman will only come by to pick up new mail in intervals. Basically, the shorter the interval, the more often Joget will check for deadline events to be triggered. However, setting it too short (eg. 5 seconds interval) may incur unnecessary processing load on the server. For your case, setting the interval for every 1 - 5 minutes would be okay.
