Simple Invoicing App

I am struggling to understand how the Invoice Flow Process in the Simple Invoicing App is triggered.

In the invoice-base form there is custom HTML which adds a "Complete and Start Notification" button.

Which then calls a runprocess=run action, and sets the status to "Unpaid"

When it try to replicate this in my own workflow, it just creates a new record but doesn't start the process.

I'm not a web developer as such, but can anyone provide any guidance?

In this portion of code, in the circle, it is actually a userview menu custom ID. Joget will recognize and load the correct userview menu.

Now in the Simple Invoicing app userview, the "run_invoice" custom ID corresponds with a Run Process menu that is hidden from view. It will then run the "Invoice Flow" process.
