Using fontawesome and Joget DX Progressive Theme together

Hi,

just a short question concerning fontawesome icons and the Joget DX Progressive Theme:

If you take a look at the userview of the Expenses Claim App you'll see serveral fontawesome icons being used.

However it is not possible to see icons within a category using the DX Progressive Theme. (Refer to "Setup Categories", where a gearwheel should be visible)

Using other themes it is possible to see the gearwheel again. Is there a workaround other than using a different theme?

Hi TT, thank you for highlighting this. Originally the "Setup Categories" menu was standalone and the fontawesome icon was displayed if the menu category only contains one submenu. I added a second submenu and forgot to remove the fontawesome icon in the first submenu. (smile) 

By design, Joget will only display the fontawesome icon, if available, on the category menus or if the category only contains one submenu, to display the fontawesome icon on the submenu.

Hi Andrew,

thanks for your answer. May I ask why you've decided to not allow icons in submenus? I would really like to use those icons there without changing the theme.

i think the icon is just hidden using css. can just enable by override the css.
