Email Tool Attachment using URL - Corrupted file

Hi there,

I am working for use case where in, i am using a URL which downloads a file (this works fine from the browser) in the email Tool as an attachment. When the email is triggerred, the attachement is coming as corrupted.

I tried to double check the configuration twice but i do not see anything else can be done in the email tool properties. I also looked at the system logs when the email is triggerred but could not see any warning or errors. Could some one know where to look for potential solution?

Observation: The same case was working when we created the scheduled job and suddently stopped working after some time. There might be some changes to DNS in the Joget configs - but not sure.

Hi, try to check that the attachment URL is accessible from within the server. If it was working previously, then there might have been some changes to the networking infrastructure since then.

Thanks for the reply. I did try to access it and it works fine.

We are implementing the feature as described in the Joget documentation - Send Datalist as attachment in Email Tool

Created a data list with single filter with no specific permisssions congifured
Confiure a scheduled job with MultiTools (all the tools within are EmailTools) with a specific group permission, so that this menu wont be visible to everyone
using datalist PDF as attachment using URL

What we observed was, If we remove permissions on the scheduler, then the job was able to send emails with valid attachments. The moment, we attach the permissions on the scheduler menu it creats the corrupted attachment.

We also tried to give the datalist same level permission, but still it is not working. And we do not want to open the scheduler menu to eveyone.
