Solution to sync user list between Joget and external system
Hello, we are using Joget Community edition to create and run workflow related to our current CRM system.
Our current CRM system has around 800 salespersons who log in using username and password managed manually by our Admins. Salespersons are assigned to different geographical regions and can only operate in assigned regions.
We are finding a way to allow our users to move conveniently between two applications: Joget and CRM systems. Our current solution is:
- For each user in our CRM system, we create an user in Joget with identical username and default password. Our admin then proceed to assign Joget users to groups based on their assigned geographical regions in our CRM system.
- After user receives username and password in joget, they login and change password
- Each day, they will have to login both systems to work
- If there's any update to the assigned regions of a user (on CRM system), our admin have to change this information on both system, Joget and our CRM system.
This solution is slow and inconvenient. It would be great if you can suggest me some alternative solutions for our situation. Thank you very much! And feel free to ask for additional input, I will answer as much as possible!
The ideal would be to have Joget use our CRM system's user directory, so our users can login our CRM system and don't have to login again in Joget
