open.not_running.suspended state?

Hi there,

I know about the Process & Activity states and I also understand when an activity or a process changes its state.
I wanted to know about the open.not_running.suspended process/activity state.

Is this something related to an activity or a process instance? When does this state occur? At what condition?

Hi,

I have not encountered such a state before, how did you manage to get your process or activity into this state? I would have thought that it is an unused state in the underlying workflow engine.

Thanks for the reply.

I didn't mean to say that I got some process to come at that state. I was just wondering if such a state could ever be achieved by a process or an activity?
Say I initiate n number of processes, if some of them (say m) fail to start due to some error, will that result in these m processes achieving open.not_running.suspended state?

In short, I was wondering when and how such a state can be achieved.

Thanks for the clarification. In this case then as mentioned in my previous answer I do not think the state is used, or at least I have not encountered any such state as yet :)
