Workflow variable encryption

Hi team,

Is it possible to encrypt / decrypt a workflow variable?
I tried to find information on this but couldn't see anything written about it.
Since v6 encryption seems to have been added to some form fields but what about workflow variable encryption / decryption - are there any plans or ways of implementing this?

Hi, I don't see any encryption option in workflow variables, but you could always perform your own encryption using some BeanShell or plugin code?

I guess I could but the performance wouldn't be great I think - might try it out.
