Process in open.running state

Hi, 

I have a process where in one step which requires to add some value to form it is stuck in open.running state. What this state means? Why is it stuck and not moving?

Also it is not possible to reassing this activity to different user.

Hi, perhaps there is some endless loop in the tool. Are there any error messages in the logs? You can try going to the process and activity instance in Running Processes and clicking on the Complete button to see if it works. Otherwise you could try aborting the process.
