Anders, the given link talks about upgrading from v5 to v6. Also it suggest to use the old v5 installation and just replace the app WAR from v6.

This way even if we replace the war from v3 to war of v6, the overall joget will not upgrade. The java, tomcat and mysql will still remain old version.

So, i wanted to use the new v6 installation with the older v3 application+data.

1. Backup the db used in v3 - https://dev.joget.org/community/display/KBv4/Joget+Workflow+Deployment+Best+Practices#JogetWorkflowDeploymentBestPractices-BackupandRestore 2. Restore it into the new DB in v6 - https://dev.joget.org/community/display/KBv4/Joget+Workflow+Deployment+Best+Practices#JogetWorkflowDeploymentBestPractices-BackupandRestore 3. Launch Joget, it will update the table schema. 4. Copy needed file uploaded in wflow folder into v6's wflow folder too. See the same link.
