Different departments on same Application

Hello

Let's say I have a company with 2 departments. Each department has employees and their manager. I want to know how can I make employees of department A report to their manager and employees of department B report to their manager without both departments interfering with each other.

First of all, you will need to set up your org chart. See Department.

Then, in your participant mapping in your process flow, point to "Performer's HOD" under Org Chart tab. See Map Participants to Users.

By doing this, user of department X will flow to HOD of department X. user Y will flow to HOD of Y.

PS: There's no need to configure one by one inside your app design. We do it through user setup.
