Localizing Date Picker Field

Introduction

Localizing the Date Picker field ensures that users interact with date selectors in their preferred language, enhancing usability and accessibility. This guide provides examples of how to set up the Date Picker in different languages using System Settings. By default, Joget will use the server's locale, but you can enable locale selection for users through the User Profile. The Date Picker will follow the user’s selected locale, and you can also enable locale-based date formatting.

How does it work?

1. In System Settings > General > User Interface, check the Enable User Locale Selection option.
2. Specify locales in User Locale Options, and click Submit.
   
3. Under Profile, you can see that locale selection is available based on the User Locale Options.
   

Expected Outcome

The Date Picker will change according to the user's selected locale.
