Deploying to a new Version 7.0.11 (DEV) to 7.0.13 (PROD)

I have a staging version of JOGET 7.0.11 and will build my prod instances soon. I wish to use 7.0.13 (latest) version.

I am prepared to export the app's as .jwa files and import them into the new version of joget, will this work seeing that there is a version difference between the staging and prod (7.0.11 and 7.0.13)

also, how does one upgrade a prod instance from 1 version of joget to another higher version say 7.0.11 to 7.0.13 or 7.0.13 up

Preferably, I would upgrade my staging version to 7.0.13 first to test it out before moving into production. To upgrade, all you need is 7.0.13 jw.war file. Here's a link : Upgrade Guide - Knowledge Base for DX 7 - Joget | COMMUNITY

Hi, I believe that a staging environment by definition should be a mirror copy of (or as close as possible to) production https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deployment_environment#Staging. This applies to any IT environment to minimize unanticipated problems when rolling out to production.
