Hash variable

Hi experts,

I am facing challenge to use hash variable in workflow.For example I am trying to use #process.activityInst.ACTIVITY_DEF_ID.instanceId# in json tool to pass activity id to my custom Api so in this case json tool considers this hash variable as a string and json tool is not able to pass activity id through this hash variable.What could be the reason? Please let me know.

Did you replace "ACTIVITY_DEF_ID" to actual activity definition ID?

Yes I have replaced it to actual definition ID.
