How do you fix Java Security Error in the Workflow Designer?

Confluence User - 07 Oct, 2015

Trying out the Enterprise Joget V4.  When I click the "Launch Workflow Designer" button, I get an error stating that the application was blocked by Java Security due to it being self-signed.  It was doing this in the Community Edition as well.  I am running Windows 10, IE 11, and JRE1.8.0_60.  What steps are needed to resolve this issue?  We are under a very tight time constraint for this evaluation.

Thanks,

Rob Hammons

Did you try the steps in Java Security Settings for the Workflow Designer? For the community edition, if you are accessing from your local computer then you can add http://localhost:8080 into your Java Exception Site List.

If you're using the enterprise edition, then you don't need that setting. It could be because the community edition designer is cached in your PC, so you can clear it first https://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml

You can also evaluate a hosted version with a free trial at https://cloud.joget.com
