Any alternative free SMTP server to test emails?

Hi,

I tried testing the email tool to send out email notifications and for that I was using smtp.gmail.com, with my gmail credentials and either of the SSL or TSL options (and their port numbers). However, it fails every time and I keep getting email from Google warning me about access attempt from an authorized device. So, I changed my security settings on my google account to allow. But, even after changing the settings, the test email keeps on failing with the failed message.

Is there any any free SMTP server offered by Joget for testing or are there any other free and secured SMTP servers that would allow sending of emails.

If I recall correctly, there's times where you will need to enable "less secure apps" option. See https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en

If you use multi factor authorization, you will need to generate app specific password and use it on your email tool too.

Thanks @Walter for your time and suggestion. As mentioned in my original post, I had turned ON "Allow Less Secured Apps" following the same support help link from Google. I tried once more today again. Still, the test email failed. So, I started looking at other smpt servers from reliable email providers and found smtp.live.com (from outlook/hotmail) to be helpful and the test email worked! I'm all set for now.
