Detect Unclear Process Design

Overview

The Detect Unclear Process Design feature helps identify and clean up outdated or orphaned process designs (XPDLs) that remain in the system after process modifications. These leftover designs can occur when a process is updated or repositioned, but older process data is not properly cleared, potentially affecting system performance and governance reporting.

This feature is available under Monitor > Governance Health Check, categorized under Performance.

How It Works

When a process design is modified, Joget creates a new process version. If the system retains old process data or designs (XPDLs) that no longer have associated completed process instances, these are considered unclear process designs.

The Governance Health Check detects and reports such inconsistencies, allowing administrators to clear unnecessary process data to maintain a clean and optimized environment.

• Before clearing, the Detect Unclear Process Design section lists one or more unclear process XPDLs.
• After clicking Clear Data, the list should refresh, showing no remaining unclear process designs.
