Directory Validator

Introduction

The Directory Validator enables validation of form input values against the directory manager.

To add this validator, go to the element's properties under Advanced Options > Data and choose Directory Validator in the Validator field.

When adding a Directory, you will see the following fields available for configuration:

• Type: Choose the type of directory to validate against.
  • Department
  • Grade
  • Group
  • Organization
  • User
• Field: Specify the field to validate against based on the selected Type above.
• Error Message When No Value: Message to display when the input value is missing.
• Error Message When Value Exists: Message to display when the input value already exists in the directory manager.
