The MCP Client Tool allows your AI agent to seamlessly connect with external services and applications through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). By leveraging this integration, agents built in Joget can securely access data, trigger workflows, and interact with third-party APIs without complex coding.

How to use it

To use the MCP Client Tool:

Adding the MCP Client tools

1. Locate the MCP Client element under the Tools section of the palette.
2. Drag and drop the File element into the Drop a tool to here section.
   

Configure Form Properties

To properly integrate and configure the Google Web Search, set the following fields:

• Personalized Name: A custom name to display in the node viewer.
• MCP Server Name: Name of the MCP Server
• MCP Server Description: Description of MCP Server
• MCP Server SSE Endpoint: SSE endpoint of MCP Server
• MCP Server Timeout: Timeout in seconds(s)
• Debug Mode: Enable this to log request and response data for troubleshooting purposes
• Test Connection: Button to test the MCP server connection
