Introduction

The Click To Reveal Datalist Formatter plugin hides content in a list and displays a clickable element to reveal it.

How to install

1. Log in and click Download on this plugin screen. A .jar file is downloaded.
   
2. Go to your Joget localhost or server. In the Joget Console, go to Admin Bar > Systems Settings > Manage Plugins and click the Upload Plugins button.
   
3. Under Upload Plugin, select the plugin .jar file you downloaded and click Upload.
   
4. You can now view your new plugin in your List Builder.
5. Remember to uninstall the old plugin before uploading a new version.

How to use it

1. Click the + button in the form builder to create a new form.
   
2. Enter the form details and click Save.
   
3. Drag a Text Field element into the form from the Palette.
   
4. Click Apply Change > Save to save the changes.
5. Generate a CRUD for the form by clicking on Generate App and selecting the checkbox labeled GENERATE CRUD, and then click Generate.
   
6. Open the list from the App Composer.
   
7. Click on the Text Field column and choose Click To Reveal Formatter under the Formatter property.
   
8. Click Apply Change > Save.
9. Launch the app from the UI Builder.
   
10. Click Manage Click To Reveal Datalist Formatter Form > New from the App to create a new record.
    
11. Input a value into the Text Field element, and then click Save.
    

12. The newly created record now displays the Click To Reveal element instead of the actual value; click it to reveal the hidden content.
    

Configure Click To Reveal Datalist Formatter Properties

Field to configure:

• Click to Reveal Text: Customizable text that will appear as the clickable element in the list. This option allows you to specify the label text that will be shown when the content is hidden.

Expected Outcome

The specified column in the list shows a clickable "Click to Reveal" label. When clicked, it reveals the hidden content in the Text Field, allowing users to view the full Text.
