Section Wizard Plugin

Introduction

The Section Wizard plugin is a Form Element plugin that changes the display of a form's sections, originally from top to bottom, to a horizontal tab-type display with steps.

Where to get the plugin

You can download this plugin from the Joget Marketplace.

How to install

1. Click Download on this plugin screen (It will be a .jar file).
2. Go to your Joget localhost or server. In the Joget Console, go to Admin Bar > System Settings > Manage Plugins and click the Upload Plugins button.
3. Under Upload Plugin, select the plugin .jar file you downloaded and click Upload.
4. Depending on the plugin type, you can now view your new plugin in your form, List, or UI Builder.
5. Remember to uninstall the old plugin before uploading a new version.

How to use it

1. In Form Builder, add some sections and fields, and add a Section Wizard element to your form. Configure the properties based on Configure Section Wizard properties.
   
2. Click Generate App. Select Generate CRUD, and proceed by clicking Generate. Publish and run the UI.
   
3. You can see the sections being categorised into section tabs with steps.

Configure Section Wizard properties

Fields to configure:

• ID: Field ID
• Section Ids (Separated by comma): Configure all the section IDs separated by commas.
• Clickable Steps?: If checked, the tabs will be clickable. If unchecked, we can only navigate by steps.

Expected Outcome

You are now able to change the display of a form's sections, originally from top to bottom, to a horizontal tab-type display with steps.
