Multi Permission Plugin

Introduction

This permission plugin allows users to configure multiple permission plugins to be applied to an element.

This plugin bundle is compatible with Joget DX 7 and DX 8.

Get Started

To see how the Multi Permission plugin actually functions, we should first create a UI. Here are the steps for this process:

• List any required versions, dependencies, or configurations needed before installing the plugin.
• Mention if users should already have certain systems or apps in place

Where to get the plugin

You can download this plugin/app from the Joget Marketplace/ JogetOSS Github Repository

Steps to Import this Plugin

1. Click Download on this plugin screen (It will be a .jar file) for the marketplace, or click on Releases and download the latest JAR file the JogetOSS Github Repository.
2. Click on the .jar file to initiate the download.
   
3. In Joget DX, log in as admin.
4. Navigate to Admin Bar > Systems Settings > Manage Plugins and click the Upload Plugins button.
5.  In the Upload Plugin, select the plugin .jar file you just downloaded, then click Upload.
6. You should be able to view the newly installed plugin under the Installed Plugins tab.
7. Remember to always uninstall the old plugin before uploading a new version.

Steps to Use the Plugin

1. In Joget DX, log in as admin and click on Design New App or click an existing application.
2. For a new application, fill up the App ID and App Name, then proceed to click on the Save button.
   
3. Create a new form, fill up Form ID, Form Name, and Table Name, then click the Save button.
   
4. Add a Text Field form element to the canvas and configure it, then save the form.
   
5. Click the GENERATE APP button and click GENERATE CRUD.
   
6. After creating the CRUD, launch the UI Builder by clicking on the newly created CRUD.
   
7. Navigate to this UI's Permission, then click on the edit icon on the newly created CRUD menu.
   
8. Select the Multi Permission Plugin from the menu.
   
9. Configure the plugin properties as shown below.
   
10. Save the changes and launch the UI page.
    
11. Log in as Admin, and observe that you can interact with the Test Form Menu. Log out of the admin account and observe that you can still interact with the menu. 
    
    
    
12. Log in as Cat Grant (username: cat, password: password), and notice how the menu is inaccessible to Cat Grant as configured previously.

Configure Multi Permissions

Fields to configure:

• Permission: Provides options for selecting which permission plugins to add to the Multi Permission tool.
• Matching Condition:
  • ALL: All the permission conditions must be matched.
  • ANY: Any of the permission conditions must be matched.
• Comment: Acts as a comment for permission configuration.
