Add Extra Attributes and Signature to User Profile

Introduction

In this guide, you will learn how to enhance user profiles in your Joget App by adding extra attributes and a signature field. This process allows you to store additional user-specific information and enable self-service updates. 

How does it work?

You will begin by creating a Joget App and adding a form with various fields. The form will include text fields for user details and a signature field for capturing user signatures. By using the provided hash variable, you can display and manage the user's signature effectively. This approach ensures that additional attributes and user signatures are integrated into the user profile smoothly.

1. Create a form with hidden fields to capture the current user's ID, allowing them to update their details seamlessly.
   
2. Add 2 text fields and a signature field.
   
3. Generate CRUD using Generate App feature.
   
4. Navigate to the generated UI, drag and drop Form into the UI.
   
5. Configure the Form to point to the created User Profile Form and change the Label.
   
6. To add the Admin signature image into your email content, refer to Add Signature Form Element as Image into Email Content.

Expected Outcome

In the runtime, users will be able to view enhanced profile information that includes custom attributes such as department, role, and contact details, along with a signature field. This signature, once captured, will be stored and accessible via hash variables, enabling seamless integration across the app.
