Manage Plugins

The Manage Plugins menu allows you to manage the available plugins loaded into the platform. Plugins enhance Joget's features, allowing for a more customized experience. A single plugin pack (.jar file) may contain more than one plugin.
To access this menu, go to Settings > Manage plugins.
In the plugin list, the table columns indicate the:
  • Plugin Name; The name of the plugin installed
  • Plugin Description: A brief description of the plugin's capabilities
  • Plugin Version: The version of the installed plugin.
  • File Name: The name and the download link of the stored plugin.
  • Marketplace: Allows for opening or copying the Marketplace URL to the plugin.
The menu displays a list of the installed and active plugins and the following buttons:
 
  • Reload: In the case of plugin jar files being loaded into Joget's wflow/app_plugins, you can click this button to load all the plugins into the context.
  • Upload: Upload a new plugin pack into Joget.
  • Uninstall Plugin: By selecting an existing plugin, you may unload it from the current context and effectively delete the library jar file in the server. This option is only possible for custom plugins that are unavailable by default.

    You effectively remove all other plugins in the same plugin pack by removing a plugin.

When updating a plugin, there is no need to uninstall the old plugin before uploading a new version, as Joget DX will automatically remove plugins that match the classpath.

Installed Plugins

The Installed Plugins tab displays all plugins currently installed in your Joget DX and allows you to uninstall plugins. This can be done by checking the plugin in the list and clicking Uninstall Plugin.

Plugin Bundles

Plugins contained within a bundle can be viewed by clicking on a plugin bundle in the Installed Plugins list.

Clicking it will display a list of plugins bundled together in a single row. In this example, the Joget AI Agent Builder plugin bundle comes with plugins such as the AI Agent Builder itself, along with its included tools, prompts, and enhancers.

Update

The Update tab enables users to seamlessly update outdated plugins without requiring the reuploading of a newer version. This is done by checking the outdated plugin in the list and clicking Update.

Configurable Plugins

Some plugins in Joget are configurable, meaning they expose settings or parameters that can be customized directly within the platform UI. To configure plugin settings in the Manage Plugins page, click the Configurable Plugins tab. Doing so displays a list of plugins that allow configuration:

You then click the plugin listed on the page to open its configuration page. As an example, this is what the Plugin Configuration page of the Kafka Event Stream Manager looks like:
